Brunei

Hey! I am doing a post now..so Rianne dont say that i dont post much! haha. i am gonna post about Brunei! It was a blast there. And 'someone' was there too. If you know what i mean ;).. So i will be blogging about my whole trip to Brunei so be ready people cause there will be lots of reading. Dont say i didnt warn you. hehe.

1st day (Friday) I was on the plane with my mom..and my mom forced me to wear the mask. pfft. I had to change my seats three times! it was embarassing. heh. cause my mom booked me on a seperate seat with her. So my mom asked me to sit on a random seat nearer to her when a woman said "Excuse me, why are you seating on my seat? " then i was like oh sorry. and my mom asked me to sit on my original seat beside the window when my mom asked me to get up and change seats again. Ugh. but it was worth it cause we had the whole seats to us. All 3 of the seats! so more space for us..and my mom was like so sleepy. haha. So then we arrived at Brunei at about 11 pm and we started to "scan" the laggauges when the gaurd asked my mom to open up one box. She opened it up and i found out that it was full with door locks! haha..my mom problaby stuffed it all in. Then we went back to my grandma's house and watched some Taiwanese movie. It was pretty cool. My first time watching it so yeah i was pretty clueless. Then went to sleep at about 3 in the morning.

2nd day(Saturday) Woke up at about 10 in the morning. Ate some breakfast and then payed my respects to my grandfather in his bedroom. I bowed three times and i cried :( ..So sad... Then we went to the airport to see him. He looked the same as always and i hugged him :P And then we went back to the house. My aunt, Aunty Christina came to pick me up to spend the rest of the week at her house. My cousin was there so yeah it's gonna be fun since she is like my closest cousin there. haha. So when i got to the house i found her watching CSI: Miami. Do you love that show? i like it. but i like without a trace better..anyways, she didnt even know that i arrived in Brunei yesterday! =.=..typical rachel. haha. um..then we watched CSI: Las Vegas . it was damn cool!
And then Rachel told me that she was learning how to play acoustic guitar. so we abandoned the television and she tought me how to play a song. I finally know how to master Far Away by Nickleback. So proud of myself. hehe. And then my hands were to sore to play anymore since the strings are so hard..what are they?? Metal?? i had like marks on my finger tips. :( ..but it was worth it anyways. so we went down to eat lunchhh. :D ..it was so good but something spoiled it..the soup had watermelon in it! The maid like squeezed watermelon into the soup so yeah the soup tasted like watermelon. When me and Rachel went back to the room we were laughing like crazy..hahahhaha. And then i showered at dinner at grandma's house and saw my other cousins there! so fun. Ans then went back to sleep and instead, me and rachel talked and laughed. hehe. I was like "wow, its already 2 in the morning. I think we should go to bed." "OK.." 2 minutes later she nudged me and said "But marissa, i dont feel like sleeping, i feel like talking and gossiping and stuff." haha..so thats how we never really got any sleep later on.

3rd day (Sunday) Woke up at 11 in the morning. Me, Rachel and 'him' decided to go to Aunty Margarets house to see our cute adorable cousins whose name is also Rachel and her younger brother, Bryan! Rachel is 5 while Bryan is 1 year old. Bryan was adorable and Rachel was naughty as always. But she's cute too...in a way. heh. We were all eating ice-cream when suddenly, Bryan scratched me. BY ACCIDENT..and theni think he felt sorry about it and thought maybe PUTTING ICE-CREAM ON IT would make me feel better. haha..he suddenly came with ice-cream in his hands and started putting it all over the scar. haha..and i was like noooooooo...haha..and then i went to get some tissue to wipe it off. Bryan was chasing me with more ice-cream..and then we chased all around the house with ice-cream dripping all over the floor. haha..what a mess i made with Bryan, but hey i didnt start it. and then aunty Margaret was like OH MY GOD! haha. 'He' was laughing at me so badly until he almost fell of the sofa! haha. We then babysit Bryan and Rachel and boy, it tooked forever! And then we went for afternoon church service, which rocked. came back exhausted and slept a bit. heh. Went to shower and started practicing the guitar again. I dont think i was pressing the strings hard enough cause there was no sound coming out! awww man.After that we went to eat at this restaurant called Thiam Hock and everything there was jsut so yummy. But there was this family that was so loud when they were talking and laughing. Their kids were running all aoroung the restaurant and was screaming all the time. It was so noisy. But other than that everything was good. It was better when Rachel told us some cheesy pick-up lines. Some of them were really funny and cracked me up and made me laugh until i almost cried and my stomach hurt. haha. so after we finished dinner we went to bed and again Rachel and I talked and talked and talked. But then i had this really bad stomachache later on. it was really bad man. :( i had to go to the toilet about 3 times? i think it was the cendol that Aunty Christina asked me to eat. and i dont like cendol at all. so yeah. nad luck for me that time. But then fortunately the pain stopped. hehe. :D

4th day (Monday) Woke up at 11 in the morning and watched Amazing Race Asia. It rocked! I was so engrosed with the show until i almost forgot to eat breakfast. We had home-made burgers for breakfast. yum :) But it was so small that you can cover the whole thing with your fist..so i ate two. heh. then i watched Amazing Race and the blondes was eliminated..yay! and then we went back to sleep. and at 3 o'clock in the afternoon..me and Rachel turned on the TV and went to 708 and we discovered a new romance series with Rainie Yang. and omg..the boys acting in it is smokin' hot! they are fighting over her like crazy..haha. I am supporting a guy named Hua Da while Rachel supported a guy named Hua Yan. eep! they are just so cute and handsome! sigh..and then it was break and we switched to 816 to watch Roger Federer with Del Potro..so sad, i wanted Federer to win..oh well..i was like shouting to the TV everytime Del Potro won a point. Dang! then we continued watching the romance series. Oh and its called Why Why Love. Not sure why its called that but hey, its cute. :) everytime Rainie Yang a.k.a Jia Di(name in the movie) hugged any of the boys, me and Rachel would scream! like omg...i want them! hahah. then we went to eat lunch at Aunty Sharon's house. The nice thing about my aunts is that we all live in the SAME NEIGHBOURHOD so yeah..its really easy to go to each others house without a hassle. We can even walk and not worry about it cause Brunei is really peaceful. Its the 9th MOST PEACEFUL COUNTRY IN THE WORLD :O ..seldom crimes happen there. Once, there was this girl who got kidnapped and the whole neighbourhood went looking for her. How cool is that?! and they found her. :) . so yeah the dinner was really delicious or should i say scrumptious. haha. and for dessert we had TIRAMISU CAKE made by Aunty Margaret. I fnished the last piece..i think i ate about what, 3 pieces? I got to hand it to you, Aunty Margaret makes the best cakes, cookies, muffins, cupcakes and even food taste really good. Bryan was there too and he saw a car passing by and he thought it was an aeroplane, haha. he was like "Aeroplane!" then i said "no its a car." then he said aeroplane again. haha. Then when we got home, we went on the laptop. We saw Taylor Swift got insulted by the stuck up asshole Kanye west on the VMA awards. Stupid guy, Taylor deserves that award! Ugh. And then we say Serena Williams swearing to the refree girl. it was kinda funny though. Serena was like "I am gonna shove this f***ing tennis ball down your f***ing throat, you f***king hear me? " and the girl jsut kept quite. it was kinda cute they was she was reacting to it. haha.

5th day (Tuesday) Woke up and went to this Chinese restaurant named Dynasty and Rachel ordered damn a lot of food. haha..and a lot of dim sum..and trust me, i aint a big fan of dim sum..so you see how much i suffered?? haha. then she ordered two plates of glutinious rice and it was a huge portion. And i didnt even touch it cause i wasnt even a big fan of glutinious rice. heh. then we went back and everyone was so full that we didnt even want to eat lunch..haha. then Aunty Christina came back from work for lunch and ate some sweet and sour chicken. Rachel and her older sister, Ming Hui made fun of Aunty Christina cause she didnt know how to pronouce abadone and girls properly. hahaha. then Aunty Christina got so annoyed she took a sweet and sour chicken with her fork and flicked it at Ming Hui and Rachel's direction. Luckily they ducked if not it would have splat on their face. haha..so yeah the sweet and sour chicken splatted on the cupboard and we quickly ran out of the bathroom when we saw Aunty Christina taking another sweet and sour chicken..hahha. So we went to our room and listened to some music on the ipod. Cool ipod BTW. hehe :) then Chee Soon(Rachel's older brother) came in and started to play the guitar and sing to me..it was akward..haha. it was like this "wo ai ni..wo ai ni, wo ai ni" and it went on like that for a few seconds..hahaha. then we all went down and Chee Soon started playing the song Wait For You by Elliot Yamin..he was really good. then he started singing..which spoiled the good moment. Me and Rachel was laughing like crazy. haha. then Ming Hui played a song on the piano called River Flows In Yours..if you havent heard of it you should check it out..its a really beautiful song. :) ..then we went back upstairs and started watching Why Why Love again..ahhh! so freakin' hot i tell you! HOT! hehe. then, we headed to grandma's house. My mom and I wished our cousins and uncles and aunties goodbye and we drove to the airport. There were tons of people there. We checked out and went to grab a bite at Jollibee. Its similar to McDonalds but the burgers are so much better. hahha. I ordered a caramel sundae, since i love caramel! hehe. I ordered a spicy chicken burger to eat on my way back to Malaysia in the car. And boy the burger was spicy..heh. After eating at Jollibee, i wished grandma, Aunty Freda, Aunty Christina, Chee Soon, Ming Hui, Rachel, Chee Yee (Rachel's younger brother) haha..i know Rachel has a lot of siblings..haha. Oh and we ate some Famous Amos cookies before going into the plane. Chee Soon bought them but i ate them anyways and plated with his iPhone.hehe. naughty me. :P anyways, and then wished Uncle Fuli (Rachel's father) , Aunty Margaret and 'him'. I really hugged 'him' tightly cause i was gonna miss him a lot. Cause i knew after this, it would be a long time for me to see him again. So then i said my goodbyes and went into the plane. It was raining heavily and the plane was going up and down all the time. I was so scared so i prayed to God..hahah..silly me. The we arrived at the airport in Malaysia and my dad was tehre. I was just in front of him and he drove right pass me..hahah.

So yes..that was my trip to Brunei..i hoped you enjoyed every single bit of it cause I DID! :P ..

PS: REMEMBER TO WATCH WHY WHY LOVE AT CHANNEL 708 AT 3 O'CLOCK FROM MONDAYS TO FRIDAYS! YOU WONT REGRET IT! HAHA.

OH AND RIANNE, IF YOU THINK I DONT POST A LOT, WELL NOW I AM BETTER THAN YOU CAUSE MY POST IS WAY LONGER THAN YOURS!!!!! HAHA.
